Heritage District
The Montgomery Heritage District consists of over 120 unique shops, services and dining establishments surrounded by historic landmarks and cobblestone walkways.
Historic Landmarks
To date there are 33 buildings in Montgomery that have been designated as Montgomery Landmarks. Of those, 8 of them are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Parks
The Montgomery parks and recreation system consists of six parks, one nature preserve, and a municipal swimming pool that provide recreation activities for the whole family.
A variety of recreational classes and programs are also available to residents of the community throughout the year.
Music
Led by Maestro Michael Chertock, the Blue Ash/Montgomery Symphony Orchestra (BAMSO) is a professional orchestra founded in 1987.

Parks & Recreation
The Hamilton County Park District
is well known for its golf courses,
fishing lakes, playgrounds and picnic areas. However, more than
80% of parkland is preserved for natural habitat, such as prairie and
wetlands, and wildlife. Providing a variety of habitat is the most
successful way to encourage wildlife to thrive.
The Cincinnati area parks and recreation facilities
are
spectacular. Currently under development is the International Friendship Park at Sawyer Point by the Ohio River. This
park will soon join such exciting recreational resources as Bicentennial Commons, Eden Park and Ault Park in the
Cincinnati Park system. Additionally, residents have easy access to the Hueston Woods State Park located in Oxford,
Ohio an approximate one hour drive from Montgomery.
Shopping
The Cincinnati area offers a variety of shopping
to please the most discriminating
shopper. Harpers Point, Rookwood Commons, Kenwood Towne Centre, Tri-County Mall and Cincinnati Mills provide a wide range of specialty and
department stores on a regional basis. Additionally, a variety of outlet stores await the serious shopper in
Washington Court House and Jeffersonville, Ohio - approximately 40 minutes to the north of Montgomery on I-71.
