Location: Universalist Church (Corner of Montgomery & Remington Roads)

A maximum of three entries per photographer will be accepted. A non-refundable $10 fee ($5 for students) is required for each entry. Entry forms are available online, City Hall, local photo labs and framing galleries.

The deadline for entry is 5:00 p.m., March 5th. Photos and entry fee must be delivered to Montgomery City Hall at 10101 Montgomery Road.

Photos will be available for pick up on March 16-19 at Montgomery City Hall between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

"Making Better Photographs" Workshop

In addition to the Photo Competition, the Arts Commission is also sponsoring a "Making Better Photographs" workshop featuring the judge of the photo competition. Corson will discuss various aspects of creating a good photograph (for digital or film mediums) by reviewing prints submitted by the class participants.

Saturday, March 13, from 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. at Swaim Lodge, located on the corner of Cooper Zig Zag Roads. A non-refundable entry fee for participants is $35 for Montgomery residents, $45 for non-residents and $25 for full time students. The fee (cash or check payable to the City of Montgomery) must be included with the registration form. The registratin deadline has been extended to March 12.

The class will be limited to 15 participants. Each participant will be limited to a maximum of three prints to be exhibited to the entire class. Registration forms are available online or at Montgomery City Hall.

Photographers can participate in either or both events. However, photos brought to the photography class cannot be entered in the current or future Montgomery Photo Competitions.
